Nordic Championships for Working Dogs (NOM) are yearly arranged alternately in Finland,
in Sweden, in Denmark or in Norway. In Denmark NOM 2001 the winners came from Finland (Tracking and IPO) and from
Sweden (Air Scent, Messager Dogs and Scandinavian Protection).

”Protection” micromovie was also filmed in Denmark´s NOM 2001. This free video
introduces shortly one traditional dogsports of Nordic Countries, i.e. The Scandinavian Protection Trial which
is still going strong in Sweden and Denmark.
This Trial includes Air Scenting and the dogs are working in the woods with the muzzle. Article Search is included,
too, and of course there is Obedience and Bite work to be performed. |

C'est la Vie
Once a year French Bouvier fanciers arrenge a great Get- Together-Party
in Le Touquet, France. It is always a wide selection of many kinds of dogsports not forgetting the joyful dates
and reunions of friends and breeders and judges!
During that long weekend they have not only The Speciality Show of their breed but also herding, character tests
and workings dog trials. This succesful mixture of beauty and breed spesific tests and trials respects and supports
the breed standard and makes the Le Touquet Spirit unique and exemplary worldwide.
